- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across residential spaces.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens efficiently.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic environments.
- Maintain floor care by cleaning carpets, hardwood, tile, and other surfaces with suitable methods and tools.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained, properly stored, and used according to safety guidelines.
- Follow established housekeeping management protocols to deliver consistent quality standards in every home.
- Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or porch cleaning, ensuring all areas are pristine.
- Adhere strictly to janitorial and custodial procedures to uphold cleanliness standards across all assigned residential properties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, mops, buffers, and other tools.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled appointments without compromising quality.
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.
- Knowledge of various cleaning detergents and chemicals along with proper usage protocols for safety.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior areas of residential properties.
