Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct title searches to identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
- Conduct title searches and assist with due diligence for real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including lenders, attorneys, and real estate agents, to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Prepare and process title commitments, title insurance policies, and closing documents.
- Resolve title-related issues and work towards timely resolution.
- Coordinate with escrow officers and closing agents to finalize transactions.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Review and analyze real estate title documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare closing documents and assist with real estate closings.
- Organize and maintain client files and documents.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and organizing calendars.
Experience:
- 1 year or more of experience required.
- Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a real estate law firm or title company is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and communicating with clients.
- Attention to detail for proofreading legal documents and ensuring accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using Qualia software is preffered.
- Bachelor's degree (not required) in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Real Estate Title Processor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of real estate title processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using title processing software and tools.
