Role Description
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations for The Freezing Point’s interactive culinary experiences at our Houston, TX, location. Key responsibilities include managing event setup and logistics, coordinating with clients and vendors, supervising staff, and ensuring seamless execution of events in line with company standards. This is a contract, on-site role that requires hands-on management, problem-solving, and attention to detail to meet and exceed client expectations. (Part-time role, 15-20 hr per week)
Qualifications
- Operational expertise in event management, logistics, and vendor coordination
- Team management skills, including staff scheduling, delegation, and performance management
- Proficiency in customer service and client relations to deliver exceptional experiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple events concurrently
- Ability to adapt quickly and think strategically in fast-paced or high-stress situations
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices for food service
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field (preferred)
