Summary
The Exhibit CAD Detailer creates construction and installation drawings of exhibit elements and operates CNC. This position is eligible to work an in person schedule based out of our Schaumburg, IL office.

The Exhibit CAD Detailer creates construction and installation drawings of exhibit elements and operates CNC. This position is eligible to work an in person schedule based out of our Schaumburg, IL office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to accurately estimate the amount of time needed to complete an item or task.
- Attend project meetings.
- Handle multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines.
- Exhibits creative abilities.
- Layout booth spaces, create accurate dimensional drawings for electrical/ internet placement and carpet layouts.
- Program CNC router including:
- Dado Depth, widths and locations
- Sizes of grommet holes, push lock and barrel locks
- Quantities
- Materials and Material thickness
- Call out pre‐laminated pieces and adjust dado width needed.
- Review construction and set up prints with PM prior to releasing to shop.
- Prior to providing drawings to shop, verify:
- Sizes on prints
- Quantities on prints
- Item and job numbers
- Provide Shop with (3) 24”x36” Drawing and (1) set of 11”x17” (crating, CNC).
- Physically inspect the work throughout the building process.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2014 or greater
- Three (3) years previous experience required
- Basic knowledge of programing CNC router software, Router CIM
- Knowledge of common construction methods for typical items such as counter, panels, pedestals, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communications skills
- Able to generate accurate layout drawings from sketches and specifications
- Skilled in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of standard drafting practices and procedures.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time
- Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to travel to show site as needed
