US_Scientist I (R&D)

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Scientist I for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Cambridge, MA Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Pay Rate is up to $36.00 Per Hour
• 6 Month Contract
• Develop, optimize, and execute chromatographic methods using SFC.
• Perform sample analysis using HPLC/UHPLC, SFC, UV, LC-MS/MS, and related analytical techniques.
• Design, execute, document, and interpret laboratory experiments.
• Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
• Participate in scientific discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC/UHPLC and SFC systems (SFC experience is REQUIRED)
• Understanding of liquid chromatography (LC) separation principles.
• Experience with analytical method development for pharmaceutical small molecules is preferred.
• Familiarity with UV and LC-MS instrumentation.
• Strong laboratory skills (pipetting, solution preparation, centrifugation, etc.).
• Excellent documentation, data analysis, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated scientific curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative laboratory environment.
