Scientist II

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Scientist II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Chicago, IL. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• $42-45/hr to Start!!
• This position is a 1 year assignment with possibility of extension or conversion.
• One Site
• Position will be responsible for supporting the process development of parenteral drug products including liquid and lyophilized drug products.
• Position will also be responsible for designing and executing studies evaluating the stability (chemical & physical) of biologics against solution conditions (pH, ionic strength, temperature, light, moisture, etc.) and physical stresses arising from manufacturing process conditions.
• Position will also interpret results and draw conclusions from own multistage experiments, note significant deviations, then suggest, design, and pursue relevant experiments.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience or master’s degree is Required!
• Exposure to injectable drug products is Required!
• Experience with formulation and stability testing is Required!
• Industry experience is Preferred!
