- Mon-Fri (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) OR (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Flexibility in shift timing; weekend/overtime as required
The Micro QC Analyst I will support the Microbiology Laboratory and Environmental Monitoring (EM) Program within a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role involves microbial testing, EM monitoring in aseptic production areas, data entry, SOP support, and investigation writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbial testing (bioburden, membrane filtration, sterility, endotoxin, TOC, conductivity)
- Conduct environmental monitoring (EM) in Grade A-D aseptic areas
- Data entry and review in LIMS, logbooks, and lab systems
- Support OOS investigations and deviation documentation
- Create, review, and update SOPs
- Maintain lab inventory and supplies
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and HSE regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and site operations
- BA/BS in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
- 2 years of QC Microbiology experience in pharma/biotech/lab environment
- Strong knowledge of cGMP standards
- Experience with microbiology lab techniques (bacteria, yeast, mold)
- Hands-on experience with EM monitoring & aseptic environments
- Experience in data review, documentation, and technical writing
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with SOP authoring/review
- Knowledge of OOS investigations & change controls
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
- Perform lab-related physical activities (kneeling, reaching, stretching)
