Procurement Marketing Buyer
Location: Exton, PA (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $40/hour
SUMMARY:
The Procurement Buyer is responsible for supporting sourcing and procurement activities, including contract drafting, negotiation, supplier management, and operational procurement processes. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, Category Managers, Legal, and Risk Management teams to ensure procurement activities are executed efficiently, contracts are properly managed, and supplier relationships are maintained in accordance with company policies and objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong contract management and negotiation skills, experience drafting Statements of Work (SOWs), and a solid understanding of supplier lifecycle management, procurement operations, and risk management processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contract & Supplier Management
- Draft, review, and execute contracts within established procurement guidelines and approval thresholds.
- Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, and related procurement documentation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate contract review, negotiation, approval, and execution.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contract terms to achieve optimal business outcomes while mitigating risk.
- Ensure supplier agreements remain current and active in partnership with Category Managers and Global Legal.
- Support new supplier onboarding activities, including completion, submission, and tracking of required supplier setup documentation.
- Initiate, track, and manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) requests, coordinating activities across internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare operational materials and reporting inputs for supplier performance reviews, including data collection, consolidation, and analysis.
- Support invoice and payment-term inquiries by coordinating with suppliers, Accounts Payable, and internal business partners.
- Provide operational support for procurement events, stakeholder communications, and sourcing initiatives.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Risk Management, and other functional teams to support procurement initiatives.
- Prioritize workload based on business impact, timelines, complexity, and stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables, timely execution, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supplier management experience.
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and supplier agreements.
- Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and supplier relationship management practices.
- Experience working with supplier onboarding, risk management, and procurement operations processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting procurement activities within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes.
- Understanding of regional and global procurement practices, supplier management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Finance, and cross-functional procurement teams.
