Job Description:
- Pay is $41.33/hr.
- 12-month assignment with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Collaborate with Design Labs as part of the Operations practice, assisting clients in solving complex operational challenges with a focus on optimizing packaging strategies. This includes blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality to develop and implement solutions that address critical business needs.
- Work closely with clients and teams to take an integrative approach to product development and procurement, emphasizing packaging design that balances customer preferences, competitive offerings, and cost-effective manufacturing and distribution methods.
- Leverage key tools, software, and personal expertise to deliver impactful results across multiple areas, including packaging optimization, complexity reduction, design for manufacturing/assembly, and commercial excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, or analogous technical degree GPA = 3.4 Required!
- 2 years of packaging design and manufacturing experience Preferred; Experience with plastics (rigid plastics and films) is strongly Preferred.
