Technical Support Technician II - Network Support

Job Details:

• Pay: $24/hr. to Start!!
• 6–12-month contract, with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday, with coverage between 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (2 Months training between 7am-4pm); 24/7 operations may require shift/weekend support.
• Position will be mainly responsible for providing remote technical support to customers through phone, email, and other communication channels while meeting service-level expectations.
• Position will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving incidents involving networks, WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, VoIP/IP telephony, RF trunking, and communication systems.
• Position will manage incidents through full resolution, document troubleshooting and resolution steps, escalate complex issues, and create/update knowledge articles.
• Position will collaborate with engineering, product, and internal teams to identify recurring issues and improve support processes and workflows.
• Position will support the adoption of AI tools and next-generation technologies while maintaining security, quality, and operational compliance.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent technical education OR relevant technical certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network , A , Security , etc. is Required!
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support or technical role, including remote technical support, is Required!
• Strong networking knowledge, including WAN, LAN, routers, firewalls, VoIP/IP telephony, and troubleshooting, is Required!
• Knowledge of RF trunking, communication networks, Windows/Office, information security best practices, and foundational ITIL is Required!
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer-service skills are Required!
• Network certification is Preferred!
• A , Security , CCNA, Security , or AI-related certifications are Preferred!
