Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will support food service operations across various settings, including restaurants, hotels, catering events, and banquet functions. Previous experience in food handling, cleaning, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable culinary and hospitality experience while contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup when required
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing stations in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with event needs
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times
- Adhere to all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold cleanliness standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environments is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, or kitchen cleaning tasks is advantageous
- Experience working in banquet or large event settings can be beneficial
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate
- Prior hospitality or serving experience can enhance understanding of guest service expectations
