About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Program Director to lead the planning, development, and execution of key programs within our organization. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring program goals are aligned with organizational objectives, managing teams and budgets, and evaluating program effectiveness to ensure high impact and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
- Design, implement, and oversee programs aligned with organizational mission and goals.
- Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for program growth and improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance using KPIs, outcomes, and impact metrics.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and support program staff, facilitators, and coordinators.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
Budget & Resource Management
- Assist in the development and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Assist in overseeing funding and resource allocation, including grant compliance and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, and clients.
- Represent the organization at events, conferences, and public forums, in the absence of and on behalf of the CEO.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure programs meet all regulatory, legal, and quality standards.
- Prepare and present reports to executive leadership, funders, and boards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all program activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management and leadership; Educational Leadership or Program Management. Master’s degree preferred (e.g., Business Administration, Program Management, or Education).
- 2 years of experience in program management or leadership roles.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling successful programs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis, and budget oversight.
- Experience working with diverse populations and inclusive program practices.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of project management, education, and grant management.
- Familiarity with outcome-based evaluation methods.
