Accountant II

Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is partnering with a well-established, multi-state manufacturing organization to hire an Accountant II based in Eugene, Oregon. .Key Responsibilitie

• sPrepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• .Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• .Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
• .Analyze financial results and research account variances
• .Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation
• .Assist with process improvements and workflow enhancements
• .Support audit preparation and financial review activities
• .Participate in ERP and reporting improvement initiatives
• .Collaborate with departments across the organization to support business operations
• .Cross-train and provide support across multiple accounting functions

.What We're Looking Fo

• rBachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• .Associate degree with relevant accounting experience will also be considered
• .3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• .Solid understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
• .Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• .Exposure to audit support or public accounting is a plus
• .Manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or product-based industry experience is helpful but not required
• .Experience working within an ERP system
• .Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• .Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
