What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waiter position at The Forge Artisan Pizza?
Job Overview:
We're a restaurant in Sandpoint, ID offering wood-fired pizzas, Detroit style pizzas, fresh pastas, fun appetizers and salads too.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including roasting vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Support the kitchen team with any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members and interact with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
