What we’re looking for in our next Team Member…
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with culinary education/schooling highly preferred
- Experienced cook or chef with 1 - 2 years of supervisor experience in a restaurant/kitchen setting
- Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills including e-mail and online ordering
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques
- Ability to read, understand, and follow provided recipes and directions in English
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic measurement calculations and conversions
- Current or previous supervisor experience with the ability to manage, direct, influence, and motivate direct reports
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse individuals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and ability to work with short notice in the event of staffing issues
- Maintains professional and sanitary manner and appearance
- Works independently and efficiently under stressful conditions with many interruptions
- General knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices. ServSafe Certification, or the ability to obtain and maintain once employed.
- Must be at least 18 years old
