The Ford Agency is actively seeking professional and driven Business Development Manager candidates to join the DC office of a successful global law firm. This individual will work closely with attorneys to develop business development goals, initiatives, and strategies to generate new business and engage with existing clients. Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with attorneys to coordinate business development strategies
- Develop and manage team budgets
- Identify prospective clients and new opportunities to engage with existing clients
- Create pitches and proposals for clients and audiences
- Work with team leaders for quarterly presentation and reporting to the Management Committee
- Create content collateral for the firm
- Train and mentor business development team members
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Advanced degree preferred
- 3 years of business development and/or marketing experience in a law firm
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Experience working at an AMLaw 100 Firm strongly preferred
- Experience supporting complex litigation teams strongly desired
- Professional communication skills and client service oriented personality
- Proficiency with CRM databases
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
