Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute business development strategies in partnership with attorneys
- Drive lead generation, expand client relationships, and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Research and recommend opportunities to increase client and market engagement
- Oversee the full RFP, proposal, and pitch process from planning to submission
- Track business development initiatives and deliver regular reports at monthly meetings
- Manage and mentor two direct reports to drive marketing and BD initiatives
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; JD or Master’s preferred
- 5 years of business development experience in a law firm environment
- Strong project management skills with a record of meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional presence
- Ability to lead and provide guidance to team
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
