Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system processing cash and card transactions efficiently
• Assist in food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff, including assembling ingredients and maintaining food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize revenue opportunities through friendly suggestions and product knowledge
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and food prep stations by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation protocols and food safety regulations
• Manage retail sales transactions accurately while processing cash handling duties with basic math skills
• Support food handling procedures ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and compliance with health standards
• Assist with food service customer order management to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
• Uphold a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving any concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems; training will be provided if needed
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and operate kitchen equipment safely
