Job Summary: We are looking for a professional, high-energy Experienced Bartender with strong mixology skills and customer service expertise to create exceptional drink experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced bar environment, builds rapport with customers, and maintains a clean, organized, and compliant bar area.
Key Responsibilities Greet customers, assess preferences, make menu recommendations, and provide friendly, attentive service. Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, craft drinks, beer, and wine.
Verify customer identification and age to ensure compliance with legal drinking requirements and responsible service policies. Take drink and food orders (directly or via servers), process payments, open/maintain tabs, and balance cash registers accurately using the Toast POS system.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar: replenish inventory, prepare garnishes, wash glassware, and keep the area sanitary. Monitor guest consumption and watch for signs of over-intoxication, intervening appropriately when needed.
Upsell specials, promote menu items, and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order delivery and overall guest satisfaction.
Stay knowledgeable about current drink trends, wine pairings, and our specific menu offerings.Requirements & Qualifications 2 years of proven bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting (craft cocktail or upscale experience preferred).Hands-on experience with Toast POS system for order entry, payment processing, and tab management. Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, beers, wines, and cocktail recipes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, engaging personality. Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and speed.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling. High school diploma or equivalent; bartending/mixology certification is a plus. Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35-50 lbs. Current alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) and food safety knowledge required.
Pay: $21.00 - $50.00 per hour
