Expo/Food Runner/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing plates and utensils promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling and sanitation practices.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards before serving.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, including experience in serving, cooking, or food handling.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience in banquet settings or hotel environments is advantageous but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
