What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at The FloorWorks Group?
Their primary duties and responsibilities include:
Meet with clients or contractors to understand the requirements of a flooring project
Inspect and measure the area to be covered with flooring
Analyze floor plans and input into our program (Measure Square) We will train candidate on Measure Square.
Determine the type and quantity of materials required for the project
Calculate the total cost of the project, including labor, materials, and any additional expenses
Prepare and present detailed project estimates to clients or contractors
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability and timely delivery of materials
Maintain records of all estimations, invoices, and transactions
Follow-up with clients or contractors during and after project completion to ensure satisfaction
