What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Development Facilitator/Play aid position at The Floortime Center?
Are you energetic, good with children, and open to learning something new? The Floortime Center® is looking for caring, motivated, and physically active individuals who are interested in being trained in social-emotional techniques to help children improve their social-emotional health. We will provide you with online and on-site hands-on training worth $1500, for free. You do need a college degree or be attending college to apply.
You will also get to be part of our multidisciplinary team that already includes OT’s, SLP’s, and parent educators. The most important qualities we look for in a team member are empathy, responsibility, flexibility, and someone who believes in teamwork.
This position requires a minimum of 15 hours per week and can include up to 40 hours per week. We have programs that just run for the summer (THERACAMP) and other programs that run though out the school year (THERASCHOOL).Our morning THERASCHOOL/THERACAMP group is from 9-12 Mon- Fri, and our afternoon THERASCHOOL/THERACAMP group from 1-4 .
Our main office is in Bethesda Maryland, where we work with families and children with developmental, behavioral, and learning challenges of all ages.
