What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Toy, Game, and Book Seller position at Child's Play?
Calling all toy lovers! Child's Play is a family owned toy store and has been providing great service to the DC area for over 30 years. We do our best to fully stock our shelves with a variety of carefully chosen products for every age and stage. We love our toys, but not as much as we love the children they are going to. That's why it's important to us that the gifts we help provide are as close to a match for each individual child as possible. Don't have a lot of toy knowledge, but really know kids? Even better!
Duties include:
*Assist customers with finding specific products, as well as recommending further choices or alternatives based on an understanding of childhood developmental stages.
*Keep the sections clean, organized, and stocked
*Receive and shelve merchandise
*Maintain knowledge of the book section of the store and assist customers in those areas, as well.
*Work cash register
