Position: General Laborer
Job Description:
The carpenter is responsible for doing residential construction related tasks directed by the foreman on the job site. The carpenter will follow instructions and learn the ins and outs of what we do here at The Floor Store. Tasks include but are not limited to tear out and clean up, trim work, painting, interior building, and more. Hours are from 7-4 monday-friday and saturdays on occasio but not mandatory
Requirements:
·A high school diploma or GED is required;
·The ability to read and follow written instructions;
·The ability to work at a fast pace;
·The ability to work well with others;
·The ability to take direction from a supervisor; and
·The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
·A valid driver’s license is required.
·You must be available to work Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturday as needed. Weekend hours may be required on occasion (only to meet deadlines if necessary).
