We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding projects using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Handle heavy lifting and material fabrication for various construction and remodeling projects.
- Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and other building components with precision.
- Conduct demolition, site cleanup, and prepare work areas for ongoing or upcoming tasks.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with scaffolding, metal studs, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and other building elements.
Experience
- One year of carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of carpentry disciplines including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and metal stud framing.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools (hammers, saws) and power tools (drills, saws) in various construction applications.
- Experience reading blueprints or schematics to accurately execute detailed plans.
- Understanding of safety standards on construction sites including proper use of scaffolding and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Additional skills such as plastering, stucco application, caulking, fixture installation (lighting fixtures or appliances), electrical experience or plumbing knowledge are advantageous but not mandatory.
