Summary:
The Front of House Budtender is responsible for fulfilling customer orders efficiently and with accuracy. Must have a strong attention to detail and great customer service skills. Front of House Budtenders report to the General Manager, Co-manager, and Inventory Manager. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, has a flexible schedule, and has the ability to work as a Back of House Budtender when needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping customers, checking them out, cash handling, and customer service.
- Work closely with Management to improve personal product knowledge of cannibas strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market.
- Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers.
- Comply with all register operations, visual merchandising techniques, and store maintenance standards.
- Correct cash handling and card processing.
- Accurate and timely data entry of customer profiles to help future purchases..
- Security measures and safety compliance
- Store organization for cleanliness
- Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
- Report any issues that may occur with customers and coworkers.
- Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations.
- Assist management staff in ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed to reflect regulatory and compliance standards.
- Understand and fully implement FireHaus customer service program, showcasing exemplary customer service, including but not limited to greeting, saying thank you, explaining policies clearly and politely to the satisfaction of the customer, and by prioritizing assisting customers over all other shop tasks.
- To be able to service multiple customers at one time with courtesy and sincerity.
- Cultivate relationships with repeat customers in order to serve them better.
- Perform all other duties as directed by supervisor and/or executive management.
Other Functions:
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training meetings/sessions and through independent study.
Minimum Requirements
Education High School Diploma or the equivalent
Must be the age of 21 and older.
Qualifications:
- Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
- Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency. · Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members. · Prior customer service experience in hospitality, pharmacy, customer services, or retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based email applications · Basic mathematical skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and calculating percentages
- This role requires the candidate to be at least 21 years old

- Experience/knowledge of cannabis industry preferred

Essential Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Flexibility in schedule; weekends and holidays are required
- Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for long periods of time · Frequently required to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Frequently communicates (exchanges information, converse with, express oneself) with customers, peers, supervisors, and community at large
- Occasionally exchange information in communication with individuals who are agitated, confrontational or difficult patrons from a variety of socio-economic, cultural and religious backgrounds
- Occasionally required to work at a computer approximately 10% of the time, 90% of the time will be interacting with staff and customers, this position may not be performed remotely.
