Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging demos and explanations
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, promotions, or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product freshness and visibility
- Conduct product demos to demonstrate product qualities and answer customer questions confidently
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with restocking, and recording product movements
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to support team operations and ensure excellent service standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills that contribute to a positive and productive work community
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions or certifications
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently
- Experience in grocery store or retail environments is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining compliance with industry regulations
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
