SUMMARY
Sample Coordinator is responsible for receiving internal/external orders for product samples via email, they are printed and filled with available stock within sample area. Need to use computer to locate product or shipping materials, pull items, determine shipping, obtain from production floor or carton storage location. Will need to restock, clean and organize sample room and freezer as needed.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or GED.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to work flexible schedule.
- Able to use PC and applicable data base software.
- Able to discern acceptable and unacceptable products for samples use and sales.
- Able to stand for 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Able to work in freezer for extended periods.
- Self-motivated.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to perform basic math.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to obtain forklift certification.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams together and ship samples.
- Generate shipping documents for samples.
- Prepare and track international shipping.
- Maintain records and Data on samples.
- Collect Marketing materials such as point of sale, racks and product labels.
- Send tracking information for each sample requested.
- Pull, pack and ship samples as needed.
- Cover the Reception desk for lunch coverage.
- Check FedEx daily during times packages should have arrived.
- Make necessary follow-up calls on arrivals of samples.
- Maintain correct Epicor counts for school items, new inventoried products, packaging materials and racks.
- Support Marketing new item launches.
- Assist with labeling products and ensuring samples are presentation ready.
- Additional responsibilities as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times, occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to focus in order to properly construct reports, use a computer and color coordinate reports.
