This is a full-time position (not temp). We are seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operation and all activities, including: cycle counts of inventory, paperwork, on time breaks, lunches and all daily functions. The starting pay for this position is $18/hr
 
What You'll Do: 

• Evaluate pallet quality to ensure pallets are not cracked, chipped or damaged. 

• Select cases of finished good product that correspond to the pick ticket assigned, placing a label on each pallet selected. 

• Responsible for reporting product damage. 

• Wrap full pallet with shrink wrap to the bottom of the pallet and prepare pallet for loading onto a trailer. 

• Work with the Inventory System to properly select orders, via paper ticket or scan gun. 

• Convey product from storage area to designated staging/shipping areas. 

• Sort and place product or items on pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code. 

• Be willing to assist with coverage in the absence of another Warehouse forklift operator.

What We Need from You: 

• High School Diploma or GED. 

• At least 1 year of forklift experience 

• Experience in Food Service and/or Manufacturing environment preferred. 

• Active awareness of all safety protocols. 

• Ability to read and write in English. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that involves repetitive movement, moderate to loud noise levels, and wet, humid, and cold conditions under various temperatures ranging from 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. 

• Good hand eye coordination. 

• Ability to stand for at least an 8-12 hour period; lift, carry, handle and grasp at least 35-50 lbs; push and pull a wheeled pallet jack or rack to move items weighing up to 400 lbs.
