Job Title: Lead Concierge
Location: Jordan River Health Campus
Job Summary: The Lead Concierge is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to residents, visitors, and staff within the healthcare facility. This role involves overseeing the concierge team, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the concierge team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of service.
· Customer Service: Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff with inquiries, directions, and information about the facility's services.
· Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
· Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or complaints from patients and visitors promptly and professionally.
· Scheduling: Manage and optimize the concierge team's schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
· Training: Conduct training sessions for new concierge staff and provide ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
· Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
· Documentation: Keep accurate records of interactions, incidents, and services provided.
· Facility Tours: May conduct tours of the facility for new patients and visitors.
· Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating special events and activities within the facility.
· Other duties as required
Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or healthcare administration is a plus.
· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer service or concierge role, preferably in a healthcare setting. At least 3 years in a Supervisory role managing 3 or more staff.
· Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
· Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and training.
· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare management software and basic computer skills.
Working Conditions:
· Environment: Fast-paced healthcare facility with frequent patient and visitor interactions.
· Hours: Full-time position with potential for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
