Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for assisting with simple kitchen prep projects while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food service and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, such as hotels, restaurants, or catering services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
• Help with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Keep the kitchen area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
• Participate in regular cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• A paid break is provided for all shifts that are 8 hours or longer

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and stand for 8 or more hours
• Must be available to work weekends
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to help where needed, including cooking, cleaning, and assisting other team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
