We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, including data entry, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. Responsibilities
- Perform data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Prepare daily revenue and labor reports
- Assist with accounts payable management
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial concepts such as credit analysis, tax experience, and financial services documentation.
- Utilize technical accounting knowledge to support various projects related to governmental or non-profit accounting as needed.
