About the position:
This individual is responsible for coordinating day-to-day marketing activities and maintaining relationships with current referring sources. The marketing coordinator is also involved in the development, implementation, and tracking of the strategic marketing plan. This position reports directly to COO and works closely with office managers and physicians.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and help develop practice strategic marketing plan, goals, and objectives.
- Maintain relationships with referring providers to ensure timely appointments for referrals, distribute business cards and brochures. Traveling to referring providers offices to distribute materials is required.
- Manage patient tracking database system, testimonial, and referral programs and reports, as needed, to assess efficiency of marketing initiatives.
- Create and maintain internal marketing campaigns including social media.
- Plan, coordinate, implement and attend local events including health fairs and expos.
- Continue to develop strategy to maintain and increase referrals from current patients.
- Assist with updating practice website to ensure effective and current practice information and promotions.
Education & experience:
- Must have high school diploma.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the medical field, ophthalmology preferred either in a marketing capacity or office experience . Will consider non-medical candidate if they hold a degree in marketing.
- Must have valid Oklahoma driver’s license and must possess and maintain vehicle insurance coverage.
- Must have dependable vehicle and be able to travel within 50-mile radius of Tulsa. Company will reimburse work related mileage at the current IRS rate.

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Social Media platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Customer service oriented with a focus on quality care.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly professional image.
- Must be dependable and accountable.
- Creativity, adaptability and familiarity with current marketing trends.
- Must be a self-starter who can take ownership of their role.
Physical/Mental requirements:
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Requires ability to lift up to 30lbs to load/unload marketing material in vehicle and to setup public events.
