What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at The Eye Center?
We are looking for energetic, hard-working and computer savvy individuals to join a team that travels between Athol and Greenfield each week.
Ophthalmic technicians perform a variety of tasks to support ophthalmologists in providing eye care to patients. Some of their responsibilities include:
- Following HIPPA guidelines.
- Performing preliminary exams and tests. Scribing with the provider during a patient exam.
- Maintaining patient medical records.
- Perform clerical duties along with other tasks.
CLINICAL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
- No Experience required will train the right candidate
This is a Monday-Friday position with paid Major Holidays, Health Insurance offered, sick time and accrued Vacation time. Starting pay commensurate with experience.
