The Lead Coach / Assistant Studio Manager must complete The Exercise Coach certification program. We want someone who enjoys working with and mentoring people, ultimately making a difference in the lives of others!Our studio offers a casual, fun, family-like environment with state-of-the-art proprietary training equipment and the opportunity to understand the inner-workings of a successful personal training studio.Our Core Values: Care, Conviction, Commitment, Character, Courage, CohesivenessKey ResponsibilitiesStudio Leadership and Culture: Manage coaches after your certification process is complete Foster a collaborative, team-first mentality within the studio Lead by example with a professional, positive and supportive attitude toward clients and team members Actively participate in our fitness program to demonstrate the value of The Exercise Coachs methodsTeam Hiring, Training and Development: Assist with recruiting, training and developing a high-performing team Coach staff on delivering exceptional customer service and client transformation Create a motivating environment that encourages personal and professional growthSales and Business Growth: Serve as a sales leader, converting leads into members Drive revenue growth by contributing towards monthly new client and retention goals Be a constant learner about The Exercise Coach brand and continually seek studio improvements in line with brand guidelinesClient Experience and Retention: Conduct initial consultations and promotional sessions with potential clients Ensure client engagement by proactively following up on their attendance and progress as well as modifying their exercise program over time to facilitate their fitness transformation Build close client relationships to understand their fitness and health goals, challenges as well as connect with them on a personal levelOperational and Administration Management: Proactively and regularly communicate with the studio owner about all aspects of the business, taking initiative where needed Oversee client accounts including contracts, billing, data management and scheduling Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email and text Maintain a clean, well-organized studio and ensure all team members are contributingQualifications and SkillsMinimum 1-2 years of experience managing staff in a retail or corporate environmentMinimum 2 years of experience in product or service sales in a direct-to-consumer settingOversee studio operations full-time within a flexible combination of mornings, evenings and some Saturday mornings (studio hours Mon-Fri 6am to 8pm, Sat 7am to 1pm, closed Sunday)Passion for health and fitness no formal fitness experience required!o Candidates with personal training or group fitness experience and/or a degree in exercise science, kinesiology, physical education or similar will receive priority considerationo We would be excited if you had prior experience with: Strength training applications and charting client progress Working with older adults and various limitations (e.g., injuries, medical issues, etc.) Basic nutrition knowledgePeople skills and communication this is a personalized boutique experience, and you must be able to convey your energy and enthusiasm while working with clients and coaches Valid Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification or be able to obtain within first few weeks of hire You must be authorized to work in the United States.
