We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team!Position OverviewThe Safety Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring our employees and the job sites they work on remain safe and compliant. Responsibilities include conducting new-hire check-ins, performing jobsite safety walks, leading toolbox briefings, engaging with clients, delivering ongoing training, and providing accurate safety reporting.This position will also support the onboarding process and serve as a liaison between our internal team, candidates, and clients. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct New Hire Orientation and Safety Refresher Trainings.Perform daily safety surveys and inspections across various job sites to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, as well as company policies.Investigate injuries and accidents by gathering information, interviewing witnesses, reviewing conditions, and determining root causes.Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure corrective and preventive measures are implemented promptly.Meet candidates at client locations to support interviews, tests, orientations, badging, and new-hire check-ins (hours may vary from early mornings to afternoons).Ensure all employees receive proper personal protective equipment (PPE) before job start and conduct PPE inspections as required.Work with the recruiting and administrative teams to coordinate and schedule all onboarding activities.Assist with day-to-day project coordination, including scheduling, tracking progress, and communicating updates.Ensure applicants are properly onboarded according to Lead Staffing and client-specific requirements.Communicate with employees and clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Manage and update the Company Safety Program and Policies as needed.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.RequirementsPrevious experience in staffing, recruitment, or project coordination (marine or shipbuilding experience preferred).Strong public speaking, interpersonal, and communication skills.Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.Ability to resolve personnel issues effectively.24/7 on-call availability.Please contact Aaron at 951 906 5210.Company DescriptionOur mission is to be the Best In Class manpower support company by operating on the principals of delivering the highest level professionalism, integrity, honesty, and safety to our valued employees and clients.Lead Staffing, established in 2010, specializes in Construction, Industrial and Marine Staffing of Skilled Tradespeople throughout the United States of America.
