Role Description The Coin Processor is a full-time, on-site role based at The Executive Coin Company location in Stow, OH. This role is responsible for handling, counting, sorting, and organizing coins and related items to support retail and wholesale operations. Day-to-day tasks include verifying coin quantities and denominations, inspecting coins for basic condition and authenticity cues, and preparing orders and inventory for shipping or storage. The Coin Processor will enter and update product details in internal systems, label and package items accurately, and assist in maintaining a clean, secure, and well-organized work area. The role also involves collaborating with team members to meet daily processing goals, following company procedures and security guidelines, and supporting other operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in counting and sorting, and the ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use inventory or point-of-sale systems and enter data accurately.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain orderly workspaces and records.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work well in a small team environment and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, handle small items, and lift moderate to heavy boxes or containers up to 60 pounds as required.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and respect for handling valuable items and confidential information.
- Interest in coins, collectibles, or numismatics is strongly preferred; prior experience in a related retail, banking, or processing role is a plus.
