We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team in Peachtree City, Georgia! The Accounts Receivable Specialist will investigate and resolve customer billing and payment discrepancies.

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team in Peachtree City, Georgia! The Accounts Receivable Specialist will investigate and resolve customer billing and payment discrepancies.
Essential Job Duties
- Collaborate with Evans’ Agents (Evans’ business partners, also the billing party) to ensure that established billing requirements are being followed
- Resolve billing discrepancies between customers and Agents
- Investigate customer payment discrepancies (over/short)
- Proactively reach out to customers to resolve past due balances
- Monitor accounts with past due balances
- Coordinate with the Credit Department to adjust credit limits or to place accounts on hold
- Maintain communication with the Cash Applications team for incomplete AR remittances
- Work with Agents and outside collection agencies to collect on delinquent payments
- Implement process improvements to eliminate recurring billing issues
- Maintain thorough, concise records of all relevant account activity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong typing skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Top-notch organizational skills
- Ability to quickly pivot from one task to another and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Accounting background or banking experience
