What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Faculty - Guitar and Violin Teachers position at The European Academy of Arts?
The European Academy of Arts is currently seeking violin and guitar teachers. We offer competitive pay at a modern facility in Chantilly, in a program, which seeks to provide comprehensive music education to students in Northern Virginia and to the greater Washington metropolitan area.
A qualified candidate must hold at least a Bachelor of Music or higher degree from an accredited university or music conservatory. They must submit the following:
- A bio/resume;
- Availability to teach;
- A brief description of individual teaching philosophy and methods used to teach (Faber, Bastien for piano, Suzuki method for violin, etc.);
Selected candidates will be invited for interviews upon receiving and reviewing submitted materials.
European Academy of Arts will offer plentiful solo and chamber music performing opportunities, on and off the premises. Faculty are expected to collaborate with composers and colleagues in chamber music projects, and perform in gala/representative events for the Academy.
