Position: Full-Time Housekeeper
Location: Greenwich, CT
Compensation: $30 - $40/hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm (When Principals are NOT in residence) Wednesday - Sunday 9am to 5pm (When Principals ARE in residence)

A warm and welcoming family in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Housekeeper to join their household team. This is a year-round position for a 10,000 sq. ft. residence, where the principals spend approximately six months of the year. The role reports directly to the Director of Residences and requires someone who is reliable, flexible, and thrives in both quiet and busy household environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily housekeeping duties including deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizational tasks throughout the home.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the estate.
• Care for fine finishes, artwork, antiques, and delicate fabrics with proper techniques.
• Assist with pet care, including feeding, walking, and general upkeep.
• Provide support when grandchildren are visiting, helping to create a safe, welcoming environment.
• Step in with a "no job too big or too small" mentality—ready to assist with errands, occasional meal prep, or general household tasks.
• Adapt to fast-paced family gatherings and holidays, ensuring the home runs smoothly when extended family and guests are present.
• Be available for weekends and holidays (including Easter, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day).
• Work collaboratively with other household staff under the direction of the Director of Residences.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of housekeeping experience in a large private home or luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Proactive self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
• Warm, friendly, and discreet personality with a genuine desire to serve.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed.
• Comfortable in both formal and informal household settings.
• Must love animals and children.
