Location: Sarasota, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $80,000 annually

The role will combine homeschooling and educational support with activities, exploration, play, reading, field trips, and general nurturing care. The family already has an established homeschool curriculum, including Singapore Math and Montessori-inspired learning. There are no cleaning, cooking, or household responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supplement the child's established homeschool curriculum
- Provide engaging, age-appropriate lessons and educational activities
- Coordinate homeschool co-op, activities, appointments, and field trips
- Incorporate hands-on learning, reading, play, and exploration into the day
- Track academic progress and communicate regularly with the parents
- Create age-appropriate activity plans for the family's 2.5-year-old and guide his nanny in implementing them
- Maintain a calm, structured, but flexible daily routine
- Travel with the family up to 25%, including stays at their second residence
- Certified or experienced teacher with an elementary education background
- Warm, patient, engaging, and nurturing
- Organized and comfortable managing a child's academic schedule
- Flexible and collaborative with parents and other household staff
- Comfortable traveling with the family
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a major plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to successfully complete background and reference checks
- Seeking a long-term position with a private family
