HR Systems Analyst
We’re partnering with our client, a leading financial services organization based in Chicago, seeking an HR Systems Analyst to join their People Operations team. This is a highly hands-on, technical role focused on improving and connecting HR systems, data, and processes across the organization.
The team sits within HR Operations and owns the systems and infrastructure that support the employee lifecycle including HRIS, ATS, benefits, compensation, and reporting tools. It is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where accuracy, automation, and continuous improvement are central, and where there is real opportunity to build and optimize how things work.
What you will do:
- Own and continuously improve core HR systems including HRIS, ATS, benefits, and compensation platforms
- Partner closely with internal technology teams to design, build, and maintain system integrations and data feeds
- Identify and drive automation opportunities including leveraging AI tools where appropriate
- Ensure HR data is clean, structured, and scalable for reporting and downstream systems
- Build dashboards and reporting tools to support leadership and business decision-making
- Manage system security and access controls to ensure proper data governance
- Support compliance reporting and maintain key HR documentation and policies
- Translate business needs from HR, recruiting, and finance into scalable system solutions
- Document systems, workflows, and processes to ensure consistency and team-wide understanding
What they’re looking for:
- 5 years of experience working with HR systems across multiple platforms
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Hands-on experience with system implementations, integrations, or data migrations
- Strong understanding of HR data structures and how information flows across systems
- Comfort with technical concepts such as APIs and system integrations
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills with a builder mindset and a bias toward execution
- Ability to bridge HR and technology teams and translate between functional and technical needs

Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
