Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time completion of customer orders using ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions).
- Coordinate the release, dispatch, and tracking of production work orders; follow up on urgent jobs and reschedules.
- Collaborate with supervisors, sales, and engineering teams to align schedules, address change notices (ECNs), and resolve delivery or production issues.
- Monitor inventory levels, requisition parts, and expedite materials between departments to support workflow and shipping timelines.
- Prioritize items for inspection and ensure alignment with shipping deadlines.
- Schedule shipments with freight, air, and ground carriers; prepare and verify documentation for defense compliance (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
- Support cycle counts, physical inventory, and generate performance or logistics reports as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support planning, logistics, and production control operations.

Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Global Shop Solutions, Microsoft Dynamics) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, shipping/receiving procedures, and production workflows.
- Experience working with defense industry requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and DFARS compliance.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments including Production, Sales, Quality, and Procurement..
- Experience with preparing shipping documentation, coordinating freight/logistics, and maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.
- Ability to read blueprints required.
