Production Planner

We are currently seeking a Production Planner at Hudson, MA facility

Hudson Lock, LLC, established in 1963, was founded with the purpose of delivering secure locking solutions to our valued customers. Our initial product line consisted of an interchangeable lock plug design for cabinet handles, camping-trailer handles, garage door T-handles, and screen-door handles, reflecting a focused approach to security.

In this Production Planner position your responsibilities & activities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, equipment downtime, or material shortages.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to optimize workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and maximize resource utilization.
• Analyze production data to forecast capacity requirements and identify process improvements.
• Ensure schedules align with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory transactions.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to all relevant departments.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with business goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 2–5 years in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Epicor Kinetic ERP system is required for production scheduling, inventory management, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
