Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement set-ups for machining of a variety of complex, tight tolerance parts using differing materials, according to blueprint drawings and/or written documentation
- Collaborate with Production Supervisor(s) and Engineering teams for First Part production
- Select appropriate feeds, speeds, and work holding equipment to maintain tight tolerances and required surface finishes
- Maintain tooling and measuring devices for accurate tolerances
- Safely operate overhead cranes to move parts through machining areas
- Inspect parts and record inspection results as required
- Complete daily machine maintenance and cleaning; maintain a clean work area
- Contribute to a culture of safety, adhere to all health and safety procedures

Qualifications
- 7 years experience in machining, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Ability to read work orders, instructions, specifications, and blueprints
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Maintains a positive, professional attitude while meeting responsibilities and supporting team objectives
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods (reasonable accommodations available as needed)
