Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in managing daily operations of the deli department, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Supervise and train deli staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures as communicated by the deli manager.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist in inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
- Cash-handling
- Assist in providing leadership to other departments on a rotating schedule as a manager on duty.
Requirements
- Current ServSafe Certification.
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a shift lead role.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
