About The Electricians

The Electricians is one of Colorado’s fastest-growing electrical contractors, providing commercial, multi-family, service, residential, and emergency electrical services throughout the Front Range.

Founded in 2020, the company has grown from a startup operation to more than 60 employees and over $7 million in annual revenue. We are building a long-term organization focused on exceptional customer service, operational excellence, employee development, accountability, and sustainable growth.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Construction Project Manager who can help us build the next phase of our organization.

Position Overview

This is not an entry-level Project Manager position.

We are seeking a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience managing multiple concurrent electrical construction projects across a variety of market sectors, including government, municipal, educational, multi-family, commercial, and design-build construction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, profitability, customer relationships, procurement, manpower planning, change orders, project documentation, and overall project execution.

Beyond traditional project management responsibilities, we are seeking a leader who can help improve our systems, processes, accountability standards, and field operations as we continue to scale.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully delivering profitable projects while developing strong teams, creating operational structure, and helping a growing company move from reactive execution to scalable, repeatable systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership

  • Manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from turnover through closeout.
  • Oversee project schedules, manpower planning, procurement, project documentation, and project execution.
  • Coordinate closely with field leadership, foremen, superintendents, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, owners, and customers.
  • Proactively identify and solve project challenges before they become larger issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, profitably, and in alignment with company standards.
  • Manage project priorities in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

Financial Management

  • Own project budgets, forecasting, labor productivity, and profitability.
  • Review job cost reports and maintain accurate financial projections.
  • Manage change orders, contract modifications, billing coordination, and project financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project margins and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with collections and customer payment issues when necessary.
  • Track project performance against revenue, gross profit, labor, schedule, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Help establish stronger financial accountability and reporting standards across active projects.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, developers, municipalities, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Represent The Electricians professionally in meetings, negotiations, inspections, and project discussions.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with customers, field teams, leadership, and internal support staff.
  • Help protect the company’s interests while maintaining positive long-term customer relationships.

Team Development & Operational Leadership

  • Mentor and support foremen, field leadership, and future project management personnel.
  • Help develop standards, procedures, systems, and project management processes.
  • Assist with manpower planning, resource allocation, and field coordination.
  • Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership to improve accountability, efficiency, and organizational structure.
  • Help create scalable systems that support continued company growth.
  • Support the development of a more structured and organized field operation.
  • Help identify future leaders within the field and project management teams.

  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
