Construction Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager - Contract/Commercial Construction Department

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt Salaried Position, 40 to 45-hour work week minimum

Job Duties:

• Manage a number of projects throughout the calendar year, determined based on the revenue amount and timeline of the project(s).
• Work collaboratively with other PMs and site foremen to coordinate manpower, materials, and other equipment for various projects.
• Maintain job forecasting for assigned projects.
• Manage job costing for all assigned projects.
• Pre-Construction Coordination and attend meetings as needed.
• Selection of Vendors for material purchasing and order materials, as needed, throughout project.
• Selection of Subcontractors, if applicable.
• Provide and review all required submittals for each assigned project.
• Determine appropriate manpower for project and keep schedule up to date on weekly basis.
• Coordinate and provide updates to project schedule, as needed, to General Contractor on weekly basis.
• Attend project meetings throughout project, as needed.
• Work with project foreman and crew to meet project milestones and make sure project is meeting schedule.
• Monitor project progress by conducting weekly site visits.
• Draft monthly payment applications for assigned projects and provide lien waivers.
• Coordinate punch list walk-throughs and complete items as needed.
• Provide project closeout documentation and as-built drawings.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

• State of WI Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred.
• Communicate effectively with others, including communication via email and phone.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Must have previous experience using Microsoft Office.
• Proficient typing ability is required.
• Valid State of WI driver’s license is required.
• Ability to understand and read blueprints and specifications is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction industry and/or electrical trades is preferred.

• Starting Salary of $90,000/year (negotiable based on experience)
