Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing equipment to uphold health standards.
- Restock bar supplies such as liquor bottles, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service throughout the shift.
- Assist with food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks for guests when needed.
- Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and managing trash to keep the environment tidy and inviting.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling, processing payments accurately, and issuing receipts.
- Help with setup and breakdown of events like banquets or private parties in the nightclub or hotel setting.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly desirable, especially within nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, or catering settings.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining safety and quality.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS will streamline transactions and improve efficiency.
