Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing equipment to uphold health standards.
• Restock bar supplies such as liquor bottles, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service throughout the shift.
• Assist with food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks for guests when needed.
• Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and managing trash to keep the environment tidy and inviting.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling, processing payments accurately, and issuing receipts.
• Help with setup and breakdown of events like banquets or private parties in the nightclub or hotel setting.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly desirable, especially within nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, or catering settings.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining safety and quality.
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS will streamline transactions and improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of banquet service or catering operations adds value to supporting large events or private functions.
• Strong communication skills are vital for collaborating with team members and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Prior bartending or barback roles are a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key!
