Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented beautifully.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math for processing payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, food items, and supplies; assist in restocking as necessary.
- Adhere to food handling safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively while enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
